It's not closed. But there's a separate Yelp page just called "Paik's Noodle." I think they want to make sure the Yelp pages have the same name since it's a chain.

I had no idea this place has been a resident of Dublin for the last 2 years. Small hole in the wall located at Lamps Plus Plaza. Unlike the location in Santa Clara, there was no waiting line. We ordered half an order of Gunmandu and Jajangmyeon. The fried dumplings did indeed have a crispy skin. 4 pieces were just enough - wanted to have room for our noodle dish. When our Jajangmyeon came out, I was a bit surprised to see it topped off with 5 pieces of green peas. The dish was tasty and the noodles hit the spot; thick and chewy. Black bean sauce wasn't overly sweet or salty. I took one star off because I wasn't sure if this menu was the same as Paik's Noodle in Santa Clara. I recall Paik's Noodle offers 2 bowl sizes (regular and large). Additionally, Jajangmyeon is served with sliced cucumbers which I find refreshing rather than the peas. Lastly, their Danmuji, the yellow pickled radish, was slightly dry - as if it had been sitting out for quite some time. Overall, good comfort food. We'll be back.

I was craving Jajangmyeon after work, so I stopped by here for dinner with my bf. It was our first time trying this place, and we were very pleased with the dishes we ordered. To start off we got the Gunmandu, and for mains we got the Tangsuyuk and the seafood Jajangmyeon. We were blown away with how crispy yet balanced the Tansuyuk was, it was the best we've ever had! (I've been craving it ever since we had it) I also loved the amount of veggies in the Jajangmyeon. Overall, everything was yummy and the staff were friendly.

[IN A NUTSHELL] soft and chewy noodles, great affordable prices [VERDICT] - APPROVED [RUN-DOWN] This is one of my favorite Korean restaurants. I am so glad I don't have to drive to San Jose for some affordable and delicious jajangmyeon. The noodles are always chewy and soft and I love that. If you're looking for some affordable Korean food, this is the place to go. The best part about this place is also the consistency. The food is always the same and it's not going to change when you visit. [SCORE & ORDER] OVERALL: 4/5 Jajangmyeon $10.85 (4/5) -Korean style noodles with black soybean sauce -This is my go to every time I come to Paiks. The price is affordable, the flavor is there, and overall a good choice. The noodles are super chewy and soft. The sauce is packed with so much flavor. The only downside to this is that there is not much meat :( However, that is why I get the tangsuyuk so that I have some meat options. This is the classic and a must get. Tangsuyuk $16.99 (4/5) -Deep fried pork with special sweet and sour sauce -This is also such a good addition to the meal. Deep fried pork was so delicious especially when you dip it in the sauce. This is a good complementary dish to the jajangmyeon. They also give you a lot of sauce so if you're a sauce person like me, I drown my deep fried pork in the sauce haha. Beef Jiamppong $14.75 (4/5) -Noodles with assorted vegetables, beef and beef stock -This is also a great dish to get on a cold day. The soup was super flavorful and packed with beef broth which was super good. I think the flavor they use is sort of white pepper which I loved. The noodles, again were super chewy and soft. The name of the dish is beef but I think they also give you some shrimp in there. If you're not into spice, this is the dish to get. If you want more of a kick to this, there is the spicy one as well. **they give you a side dish of yellow daikon [SERVICE & ATMOSPHERE] (not reflected upon review score): Service was great. We probably came after the lunch rush, so it was pretty quiet. There is plenty of parking. The waitress was super nice to us and was fast and efficient in getting our order. The place is sort of small with limited amount of space, so if you have a party, I would recommend getting there eralier. [TIME STAMP] FEBRUARY 2024

So happy to have found another lunch/dinner spot near where I work! This place caught my eye the other day when I was in the same plaza getting pho, and as luck would have it, a friend I was meeting up with that evening was curious about this place too! It was a faintly drizzly Friday evening so it wasn't super crowded when we got here. I got to choose where I wanted to sit + she offered water or hot tea (definitely go for the tea, as long as you like barley! :] ). I decided on the black bean noodles (jjajangmyeon) + we split a half-order of the mandu (which equated to 2 dumplings each). I love the portions for the price!

Jjajangmyung - $10.85 Tangsuyuk - $16.99 This is my favorite Korean place in the tri-valley (kinda bc I think every other Korean place here is quite bad). The noodles here have this rich savory taste and the tangsuyuk is fried really nicely with a great sauce that isn't too sickly sweet. I might be biased here since this specific type of Korean-Chinese food is comfort food for me that my family used to go eat all the time growing up and these dishes really hit home for me. Service and ambiance are nice. Not exceptional or anything I don't really put too much stock into those at a casual Asian place like this. Also I read some other reviews complaining about a lack of banchan???? Cmon man this isn't that type of Korean food

I know I super like their Jjamppong for its delicious and deep seafood flavor throughout the entire bowl, not to mention the perfectly cooked noodles that are thick and chewy. It's absolutely amazing. But today I found another favorite: Jangban Jajang, which is seafood black bean sauce noodles with stri-fried prawn, squid and vegetables. The entire dish was super savory, slightly sweet from the black bean sauce, slightly spicy; it was almost perfection in flavor. The noodles were as consistently good as those in the Jjamppong dish. The price might be a bit more expensive (about $20 as of Nov 2023), but I'd have to say the portion was big, so to me it was worth it. Service was really good and fast, no complaints at all. Ambiance was nice, the restaurant was clean.
